A Quechua: Polo in Austria
Welcome to the A Quechua polo school Kumberg website, THE reference for polo in Austria. The polo center on the Frindorf hill invites riders and not-yet riders to stick & ball and chukkers. In our polo school polo courses take place all-season and year-round. Within a few days polo beginners can start to play the dynamic team sport and at the end of one weekend they usually play their first chukker. The reason for this quick start is the efficient and practically orientated A Quechua method to share our polo know how and to teach all the basics and polo rules to beginners.
We are closely linked to the PIPA Polo Association, the International Association of Polo Instructors and Players: All polo pros and trainers who are teaching at A Quechua institutions are PIPA licensed. The unique A Quechua approach and course structure guarantees a connection between the worldwide A Quechua polo schools/clubs and partner schools.
From polo in Austria to polo worldwide
A Quechua promotes and develops the trendsport polo in Austria and on an international level. One of our goals is to improve polo infrastructures and to make the dynamic teamsport more accessible. We try to achieve that everyone who is interested gets the possibility to try and play polo. One possibility to try polo is to visit one of our Polo Taster Days.
A Quechua poloschool Kumberg
In Austria we have our home base: the A Quechua polo school Kumberg. On this basis we offer worldwide polo courses and polo journeys. Our tournament series are both international and regional: About half of the Beach and Snow Polo tournaments take place in Austria, the others in surrounding countries.
We take part in all bigger equestrian trade shows and maintain worldwide polo contacts. We manage and support international polo clubs and help to build up new polo schools. We design and put on the market clothing, sportswear, polo equipment and items of furniture and interior design. Please visit our Online store My Aquechua and see our wide range of products.
For us polo is more than a sport, it is a way on living. A Quechua Polo wants to transport the South American national sport, lifestyle and spirit to Europe and other parts of the world.
